Although it was probably Shakespeare who made a living first with the NaNoWriMo philosophy of writing a piece of literature expected to be taken seriously within a few days, it is Chris Baty who has revived the skill for this millennia.

Yes, yes, yes.
It is done!
Well, not quite. the story has been written and the cover has been done, but it needs editing and another 25G of words at least to be a novel. I hope to do that in January, when kids and wife are busy

Chris Baty has written a book about the whole experience of writing a novel in one month. I received my copy a couple of days ago and am enjoying the read. At first I thought I needed this book for a million tips and techniques, but now I realise that I needed it for reassurance and a laugh before I start November.

No Plot No Problem is a great read!
